I had my first ranger, slowly fighting through the post searing quests and missions in ascalon area. I had figured out that you were supposed to progressivelu improving your equipment and skills etc. As I did so I wondered why my max hp became smaller and smaller.
Wearing 4 major/sup runes was the reason

Much later (this is not newb error but still very stupid) factions came, and I reached Vasburg Armory and decided I wanted a Kurz elite set. There wasnt all this fff farm back then and cheap amber flowing around, so i bought 80 amber for ~2500 each, thats like 200k. Went to merchant to get rid of some crap, clicked once too much and merched the amber...

sold a ascalon maul r9 15 stance non-insc back in the day when they were 200k for stance and like 300-400k for 15^50, sold for 10k gg

had 2 gold max low req butterfly swords and vendored them accidentally.

messed up my ranger when they first added the thing that let you change your profession while in a town. I changed it but it got stuck as a ranger only because they took the bar away so I had to remake my ranger.

Using starter armor in FoW and in all Factions Missions. I didn't want to spend money on a 'normal' max. Armor, because I was saving money for the Luxon Elite Armor

FAIL sorry but you are...I find mesmers great for PvE shut-downs yar-de-yar are fun -

anywho never been a noob but was a newb once ^^ probs have to say either accidently destroying my primeval armor before going into FOW to get my current FOW armor good fun run!

I'd have to agree with Payne. Mesmers are probably one of the best classes for PvE and PvP. So, like... FAIL.

Dumbest thing I did was probably having my first character (an E/X) and having him spam Flare with Water Attunement wondering why my energy would drain quickly...

Well there is a lot of undeads in Kryta and most of them cannot be affected by bleeding.

Deleted my lvl 20 ranger who was fully equipped with max bow and max armor. I deleted her because I didn't like her secondary profession. Next day I slapped myself cause I realized you can change your secondary.

Sold my first ecto to a merchant, I also had a funky Bow/Sword hybrid build on my ranger until I reached the southern shiverpeaks.
As for PvP, I used the pre-made Paladin build a lot..
